This piece is different, and in a way, special. A coworker of mine listened to me as I prattled on about writing, and he gave me a brilliant idea. He said, “You should paint a locale in your book and post it to your blog. That way you get to make something creative while painting, and readers/friends can get a good idea of how you see your book.”
Why didn’t I think of that?
Thanks for the brilliant idea, Peter! This is one rendition of Maelstrom shores, a location in my fantasy series. I say one rendition because I may make more, and I envision actual crystals rising from the depths. Yes, that is two suns in the sky, Apor, the blue giant, and Praema, the red dwarf. Having two suns allows for a plethora of colors in the sky, depending on the season, of course.
I hope you all enjoy.
